The GTS Airwave kayak backrest would best be described as a revolution in the kayak seating industry. Our new GTS Airwave kayak seat puts you on a cushion of air that gives the paddler incredible long range comfort and support heretofore unheard of in the sport. The bottom portion of the backrest has a durable self-inflating twist-valve. This valve lets you micro adjust the level of padding your sitting on and is conveniently placed at the rear of the seat for easy access. We've designed the lower pad with a wider base, virtually eliminating any pressure points. The maximum inflation of the seat bottom can be as much as 1.5'' giving the paddler incredible long range comfort. Regardless of your body type or skill level, the Airwave will guarantee you better comfort and extended performance. All of our GTS kayak seats include the following features: Deep compression molded centerback panels, contoured 18"- tall backrest (for maximum high back support) Polypropylene heavy duty webbing and solid brass connecting hardware.

The GTS Airwave kayak fishing seat comes with a generous detachable zipper pack that has two solid plastic molded fishing rod holders incorporated into it. These molded rod holders have built in fishing rod securing straps that easily wrap around your pole and Velcro down providing painless access while giving the paddler piece of mind in knowing the rod is safe. However, it''s always a good idea to back this up with on of our fishing rod leashes to ensure our pole stays with you.

The GTS Airwave kayak seat can be outfitted with any of our three other detachable rear pack storage options: Water bottle pack, standard zipper pack, and the new high volume Dry Bag Pack.

We have virtually eliminated that annoying "kayak seat slippage" with our new triangulated 6 point rear attachment design. In this infinitely adjustable rear lock down system we pull the rear of the kayak seat from two adjustable upper points- to determine the lean and two adjustable lower points- to combat forward slippage. This method of counterbalancing the pull points secures the seat back to the boat for a supportive and comfortable back plane, allows you to customize the position of the seat,and provides versatility for a broad range of kayak cockpits, shallow to deep. Further, in the unlikely event that you get tossed out of your kayak by an unsuspecting wave, the seat will maintain its positioning to facilitate ease of reentry.

This triangulated rear support system is available on the GTS Elite, GTS Air Wave, and the new GTS Pro series seats.
